Kevin Nicholson, MBA, BSN

Kevin Nicholson, MBA, BSN

Chief Executive Officer

As CEO of Mind Body Centers, Kevin brings with him over 20 years of combined experience, from management at the CEO level to working one on one with patients. Having earned both his MBA and his BSN, his daily mission is to ensure the highest quality care is provided at MBC. Kevin enjoys a very active life outside of work with his wife Julie, their children, and their three dogs. In his spare time he enjoys many sports activities and competes in a recreational hockey league.

Julie Nicholson - Founder

After being involved in multiple start-ups, Julie has utilized her entrepreneurial spirit as the creative force for MBC. Aside from administration and operational duties, Julie’s main role is in development and growth into other states. Because of her strong background and education in Human Resources, Julie places a great emphasis on hiring and retaining stellar employees. This is evident in the compassionate and quality team at MBC.

Coming from a strong military family, Julie’s future goal is to ensure this treatment is available to all Veterans.

Dr. Ellen R. Diamond, PhD

Chief Psychologist

Dr. Ellen Diamond earned her Ph.D. in psychology from St John’s University, in New York. Over the years, she has immersed herself in her profession, sharing invaluable expertise in serving those with mental health and/or substance abuse recovery needs. She has embraced roles ranging from staff psychologist to clinical director of a major Behavioral Health Services group. Dr. Diamond maintains a thriving private practice and as co-founder of Mind Body Centers, remains focused on working with others to achieve hope, healing, and meaningful lives within their communities. When not working, Dr. Diamond can be found spending time with her family, which consists of her husband, 2 sons, and 3 terrific dogs, Gracie, Leo & Bear!

Dr. Mark Murphy, MD

MEDICAL DIRECTOR

With more than 20 years experience in private practice, as well as in the clinical applications of ketamine, Dr. Mark Murphy, MD serves not only as medical director but also as the primary physician responsible for your care at Mind Body Centers. He earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at UCLA. Dr. Murphy is board-certified by the American Society of Anesthesiologists and is a member of the Arizona Society of Anesthesiologists.

With a strong belief in giving to the community, Dr. Murphy volunteers to serve on the board of directors of Point of Refuge, a Phoenix-based center for men’s rehabilitation and recovery.

Christine Ryan - Chief Clinical Officer

CLINICAL ADMINISTRATOR, BURNSVILLE, MN

Christine was born and raised in the Twin Cities. Growing up, she always knew that nursing was going to be her career choice and passion. Christine started her nursing career working with Alzheimer’s patients and managing a Memory care unit. Later, she transitioned into pediatrics earning a Master of Science in Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Walden University. Since completing her studies, Christine has worked with both acute and chronic pain conditions. As a professional in the field, Christine believes in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. When caring for a patient, she believes that physical and mental health are needed to achieve optimal results. Christine enjoys spending time with her family and two wonderful granddaughters. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling to new destinations.

Linda B

Linda

Clinical Administrator, Mesa–Gilbert, AZ

Linda is a Nurse Administrator who works with patients to better manage pain, depression, PTSD, and anxiety at Mind Body Centers in Gilbert, AZ. She has a vast knowledge of how to care for patients in their most vulnerable state. Prior to coming to Mind Body Centers, Linda worked as an ICU/ER nurse for 10 years. She is compassionate and has a strong passion for helping to ease pain and suffering. Linda is trained in critical care management, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric life support, and trauma nursing. She believes that ketamine therapy has provided a way for patients to make life fun again. Linda holds a Bachelors of Science in nursing from Grand Canyon University."

In her spare time, Linda enjoys camping, hunting, off-roading, being at the lake, and spending time in the mountains.

Jessica Neff

Jessica Neff

CLINICAL ADMINISTRATOR, LITTLETON, CO

Born in Northern California, Jessica “Jess” moved to Colorado to pursue an undergraduate degree in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado-Boulder. She worked for a couple years post-graduation as a medical scribe in the ER and as a program manager at a gymnastics facility before deciding to go back to school for a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Regis University’s accelerated nursing program. She has worked in medical-oncology as well as in the emergency department, but has seen the massive impact that holistic medicine can provide and is passionate about helping individuals feel and become their best self.

Jess currently lives in Littleton, Colorado with her husband and two dogs: a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees named Bonnie, and 2.5-year-old Retriever mix named Roo.

Katie Peeples

Lifestyle Wellness Coach

Katie completed her first Bachelor’s in Science from Arizona State University, obtaining a Degree in Dietetics in 2009. Katie then worked in the Medical Nutrition setting for almost 4 years, allowing her to gain valuable knowledge and experience in Nutrition Therapy. This career path quickly led to her longing for a deeper understanding of the human body, so she decided to go back to school for a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. In 2015, Katie graduated with her BSN and earned her license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Katie has over 5 years of nursing experience working directly with Ketamine and is excited to use her nutrition background at Mind Body Centers to help patients reach their goals in achieving a better Mind Body Balance.

Katie Peeples was born and raised in Tempe AZ. Go Sun Devils! She is married to her highschool sweetheart and has a beautiful daughter, who she loves spending her free time with. Katie’s passions have always been food, family, and fitness, which she strongly believes has brought her to where she is today.

Barbara Black

Patient Coordinator

Barbara is a Patient Liaison for our Corporate office. She has over 35 years of experience working directly with patients, recently working as the Office Administrator and a certified clinical hypnotherapist at our Jacksonville, FL clinic. She has completed over 400 hours of hypnotherapy coursework/training and is a member of IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association). Her degree is from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. In addition to working with her private clients, Barbara has brought her expertise to MBC patients by offering hypnotherapy as a natural way to overcome anxieties and apprehensions that can hinder some from receiving the full benefit of ketamine therapy.

Barbara has over 35 years of experience working directly with patients.

Ryan is Mind Body Centers' dynamic Marketing Coordinator. He triple majored in undergraduate before pursuing his graduate degree. Ryan combines his background in psychology, visual arts, and marketing to create awareness of the life-changing services that Mind Body Centers has to offer. His commitment to mental health advocacy drives his work in promoting our clinic's services with warmth and professionalism. Ryan’s passion for supporting and educating others fuels his drive to make our clinics known nationwide.

With an extensive background in digital marketing, she has developed a keen understanding of online engagement and brand storytelling. Kathleen's expertise and innovative strategies elevate Mind Body Centers' online presence to inspire, educate, and bring hope to those seeking wellness.

Kathleen's goal is to authentically bridge the gap between Mind Body Centers and the global community by fostering connections, inspiring wellness, and amplifying transformative narratives through the power of social media.

Frank Convertino - IT Support Specialist

Frank Convertino joined the MBC corporate support team as our IT Support Specialist. Exceptional healthcare does not depend on clinicians alone and Frank brings the wealth of knowledge, education, and experience demanded by today’s rapidly changing and technology-focused healthcare landscape. Frank graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s in Computer Science – Business Technology Management and has multiple minor degrees in Computer Science and Networking Technology. Frank and MBC regard this strong background as essential to providing the best care possible now and in the future. Frank’s IT expertise ensures the state-of-the-art, dependable technology that allows MBC to smoothly, efficiently, and securely meet our patients’ needs for the highest quality care. Frank’s other passions for excellence include being an avid mountain biker and an automotive enthusiast. When he is not working with technology, you’ll find him either out on the trails or participating in an automotive event.
