At Mind Body Centers, we currently do not take insurance but, upon request, will provide you with an itemized, medically-coded insurance receipt you can submit directly to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. This receipt is called a superbill, which some patients have successfully submitted to insurance for partial or full reimbursement.
A superbill is an itemized form used by healthcare providers to document each step of a procedure or wellness visit. It is the main document used in healthcare claims, which are submitted to insurance for reimbursement.
Superbills contain codes based on the treatment you received: there are codes for your diagnosis, the office visit, tools used, medication given, and basic supplies like bandages. Even if your insurance company does not cover ketamine, the office visit, monitoring equipment, and other care details listed in the superbill may still be eligible for reimbursement.
Superbills from Mind Body Centers are as extensive and detailed as possible. Not only do we include more codes than others, we also include full treatment vitals, notes and dosages. We want help put our patients in the best possible position to receive reimbursement for treatment from their insurance provider. Thankfully, many of our patients have been successful in doing so.
Feel free to ask your MBC Clinical Administrator for a superbill after your initial stabilization treatments, as well as after your maintenance treatments.
We can provide a superbill to any of our patients who request one, so that they can submit a claim for insurance reimbursement. Please call us at 1-855-481-9605 for more information and assistance.
